w0nderful seeks European offers as HellRaisers put CS:GO division on hold

The future of the team's players over the age of 18 remains uncertain.

HellRaisers made an announcement on March 2, just days after the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, stating that the project would have to be put on hold indefinitely for the duration of the war.

The team's star AWPer and one of the hottest prospects in the region, 17-year-old Ihor "⁠w0nderful⁠" Zhdanov, has now announced that he is a free agent, with his sights set on joining a European team.

w0nderful is looking for opportunities in European teams

The team had only been together under the HellRaisers banner since December, when the Ukrainian organization picked up the then free agents of Gucci Squad, although without much success to date. Despite the team's losing record, with 10 maps lost to 6 won on the HLTV database, w0nderful still managed to put up an impressive 1.31 rating.

"Starting today, CS:GO roster players become free agents and are open to offers," HellRaisers interim CEO, Aldar "Jamba" Dzhambinov, told HLTV.

"We regret that the war is forcing us to end our cooperation. We wish the guys success and most importantly a peaceful sky over their heads. We will try to give them full support while they are in Ukraine. But we can't stop them from wanting to play."

The rest of the players on the team haven't spoken much about what their future holds outside of HellRaisers while the war rages on, as they are all of military age — ranging between 19 and 21-years-old —, and are not allowed to leave the country.

It's fkd the fact they can't even leave the country when they're not called up. There's already a lot of volunteers, you don't win modern wars with pure manpower and there's no use for a soldier who doesn't want to fight anyway. Thinking if I've been born just a few hundred kms east from where I actually have my worries would not be whether I pass the current semester on Uni but whether I get called in to military or a bomb hits my house makes me sick to the stomach
