Krad: "We just need to qualify for the Major and I am confident that we can do it"

Entropiq have successfully recovered from an opening defeat to Bad News Eagles, and Vladislav "Krad" Kravchenko thinks they are on the right path to qualify for the Major.

The Russian squad kickstarted their event with a narrow loss which earned them a 0-1 record, but they were quick in coming back to form and showing what they're capable of. Entropiq proceeded to smash Endpoint 16-3, relegating them to the 0-2 pool after a dominant game on Dust2.

Krad and company did not hold back against Endpoint on Mirage

After a commanding performance in their second match of the European RMR, Krad had a quick talk with us about Entropiq's two opening games and their hopes for the tournament.

Firstly, Congrats on your win Krad. It was not an easy start to the event against Bad News Eagles, tell me what went wrong in that game?

First of all, thank you. I don't know, I just think that we lost against them because they are a skilled team individually, not good in terms of team tactics and structures. I expected that, and we sometimes have problems in the first games [of a tournament] because we just can not feel the game and were not as focused as we can be.

I think when that happened and they [BNE] did some crazy stuff, like pushing us, or us just not checking some of their positions, they killed us. It was a very close game and we did some crucial mistakes and that's why the result went that way.

You did pretty well to come back against Endpoint, it was a pretty straight forwards game, 16-3. Can you tell me what went well for you in that game? What did you improve on compared to the first game?

We just analyzed what happen in the first game and we did some fixes. We just played our game, focused on our moves, our communication and that seemed to work. We were pretty confident.

You are one of the few teams that have not changed at all since the last Major, do you think that long-standing chemistry and stability are helping you?

We have a lot of stuff, and we always try a lot of it. We know each other, what we can do and what we cannot do and I think it helps us.

At the last Major you did pretty well, including a 2-0 start to the Legends stage before a pretty hard run of games. Do you think the experience you gained is going to help you through the remainder of this event?

I think It will help. The experience of big tournaments is very important, plus it's LAN experience against tier one teams. It's really crucial for our team to be improving ourselves mentally and I think that's the most important thing is that our players can have. It helps to become a tier one player.

How has the preparation gone coming into this event, were you able to get together? how did that go?

We were together at a boot camp for about three weeks, and we just worked and prepared ourselves and our tactics.

Now I must ask about El1an. He has been great recently and in the last two games today, how is it to work with him?

Sometimes it's a little hard for me, but then he's just winning all the rounds and that makes it easier. For this kind of player that can take rounds alone, I think it must be hard and you must give them freedom and that's why he's so amazing with us in terms of highlights and of course, stats.

You are 1-1 now, what do you think of your overall performance so far at this tournament? And what do you think would be a good result at the end of it?

As for me, my feeling is that we are confident in our game and we can get a 3-1 here. I don't have any problems that can take away from this tournament. I think it'll be good to get a 3-1 or 3-2, doesn't matter, we just need to qualify for the Major and I am confident that we can do it.
