Round 5 matchups set in Bucharest to decide final Major spots

The last day of the Europe RMR will finalize the pool of teams attending PGL Major Antwerp.

PGL Major Antwerp Europe RMR B is headed into its final day following the conclusion of the fourth round of the Swiss stage, with just six teams left standing for the final three Major spots on offer after Ninjas in Pyjamas, ENCE, and G2 all secured their spots through the 2-1 pool on Saturday.

To kick off the final round of the Swiss stage, Anonymo will take on Spirit on the A stream, while SINNERS and Bad News Eagles simultaneously clash on the B stream. Following that, Astralis will meet HEET to decide the final team set to attend PGL Major Antwerp, with all three of the winning sides advancing to the Challengers Stage.

Astralis have one final chance to make the Major as they take on HEET

At the end of the day, the third place decider for the final Legends spot will play out between the two 3-1 teams that are the higher seeds as determined by the Bucholz system. Ninjas in Pyjamas are already confirmed to play in the match, with either G2 or ENCE set to play them depending on the outcome of the final 2-2 matchups.

For G2, only one scenario will give them the opportunity to play for a Legends spot: they require Astralis, Bad News Eagles, and Anonymo to all win their final matches. Any other result will mean that ENCE will take the spot in the decider match instead. In the event that Anonymo and Bad News Eagles win their matches at the start of the day, the third place decider match will be moved back to allow the final 2-2 match to play out so that seeding can fully be determined.

The schedule for the final round of play looks as follows:

09:00 SINNERS vs. Bad News Eagles (B stream)
12:45 Astralis vs. HEET (A stream)
12:45 Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. ENCE / G2 (B stream)
