Both parties have mutually agreed on the decision as the 18-year-old is up for transfer.

Max "⁠Marix⁠" Kugener officially ends his stint with Sprout after four months with the European team, having attained first place finishes at the ESL Meisterschaft Spring and ESL Meisterschaft Spring Finals as a member of the organization.

Marix joined the team in January alongside Danish rifler Victor "⁠Staehr⁠" Staehr after the departure of Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun and longtime member Josef "⁠faveN⁠" Baumann, who now plays for BIG.

Where will Marix spend the next chapter of his career?

"Sometimes you should bow out when it's best. By mutual agreement Marix leaves the active roster with immediate effect. We greatly appreciate the commitment and the efforts he was willing to make for Sprout", Sprout commented on the team's official Twitter account. "Only the best for you Meister, it was a pleasure."

Despite their local success, the team has faced struggles at international events recently, finishing 21st-24th at ESL Pro League Season 15, placing 9th-16th at the IEM Dallas Europe Open Qualifier, and failing to reach the PGL Major Antwerp, getting eliminated from the RMR without a single win.

Actually it would be a decent move for Sprout. KEi was pretty good on his trial period in Sprout. Sadly he chose to come back on polish scene just to play with his buddy Snax. But yeah, I guess he didn't believe in Sprout's project anymore after faven's transfer to BIG.

All native Luxembourgish people speak German, French and English fluently, and of course Luxembourgish. Sometimes the German is better, sometimes French, depending on the region of Luxembourg they're from. But the country is known for being great at languages.

Not so much. Switzerland does have French and their particular dialect of German, and the entire population should know them, and it also depends on the region which one is the preferred region, but they're not as good at their respective languages as Luxembourgish people are. Luxembourg scores better on French language knowledge than France does. And Switzerland isn't really known for their good English skills. Belgium is a bit different still. The Flemish people are obviously fluent in Dutch, but they're only mediocre at both French and English, and most of them don't know German at all (even though it's a national language), the Walloon people are fluent in French, but are pretty bad at either Dutch OR English, not both, and almost never German. In the German speaking region they have quite a good language education, so they are often very good at German, French and Dutch, and pretty good at English too, so that's that small region of Belgium is the most comparable, and they even know one more language.

This composition was doomed right from the beginning. Noticeable lack of firepower combined with inconsistency of particular players (mainly slaxz) couldn't pass an exam. Well, having both Spiidi and raalz on the team is questionable since both of them aren't good individually and the rest of the team is unable to catch up. I'd like to see some sort of a breath of fresh air, adding one promising youngster and bringing k1to back.

I don't get it.. They've kept Raalz way too long regarding his performance. I like their choice to go full on international, but at least get a somewhat experienced player... f.e. k1to., Spiidi just doesn't seem like enough. Spidii Staehr Slaxz~ k1to Raalz (or possible replacement)

Slaxz is inconsistent as hell. But yeah, agreed with everything you've said. I think they should keep slaxz, staehr and spiidi and bring k1to back. There are some rumours about Sprout being interested in launx, who's definitely an interesting prospect and player to keep an eye on.

yes i have to agree that slaxz is inconsistent but i strongly believe that this is a team problem, he's been a different player in attax i think raalz is a better player than spiidi so if they wanna stay international they should rather keep raalz IMO i've also heard that they are interested in launx who seems like a good pickup but same rumor also states they are interested in emi as well and i dont see that work out either

I think they’ve done pretty well over the years actually, a couple moves were questionable, sure, but their scouting game is on point and they were able to sell a lot of players at a profit. I looked it up once and they only ever paid transfer fees for k1to and raalz as far as I’m aware so I actually believe they are one of the few orgs making money in CS. I agree that emi wouldn’t be a good pickup as a replacement for marix but that’s also just German leaks talking, these leak accounts haven’t been reliable.

He's set to join BIG Academy. It'd would be a good move for him, going to Academy team with less pressure and expectations and potentially getting better roles to work with. Imo he joined Sprout too early and obviously playing spots you hadn't played before is never comfortable.

Too old for academy. If he was in academy the whole time, that's one thing, but at 18 going into academy is too late. Look at Na'Vi academy, the max allowed age is 18, then they're replaced with younger players. Players who are still in academy teams at 18 or over won't make it to main teams anymore.

Understandable that iM and xellow want to join better teams/make more money (even though I'm not sure if gamerlegion is that much of an upgrade for iM). I personally think that they could've reached more if they would have stable players around them.
