Dignitas make entire roster available for transfer

After missing out on the Major, the organisation is looking to rebuild its roster.

All of the players on the current Dignitas roster have been made available for transfer as of today, it was announced via the organisation's Twitter page. The move comes not long after the Swedish squad missed out on making the PGL Major Antwerp, having also failed the previous Major cycle.

The current lineup has achieved unspectacular results

The majority of the roster, which consists of legends of the scene alongside some younger names, has been with the organisation for over two years, with Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg, Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg and Håkon "⁠hallzerk⁠" Fjærli having signed in February 2020. In that time the team achieved modest results, largely hovering outside the top 20, with their only event wins being two Nordic Masters tournaments which served as BLAST qualifiers.

Dignitas' announcement stated that the future roster "may still include players currently part of Dignitas," meaning that some of the current squad may remain with the team. It states that the decision to make all of the players available for transfer was in order "to give each player a fair opportunity to find the right fit."

He is better known for missing easy shots 24/7 and to land hard ones, a team who strives to be at the top, doesn't need that kinda inconsistency He would just ruin whatever is left of them. To be honest i think they just need to focus on playing with 5 riflers because there is no real top tier awper in sweden, trying to fulfill a guy who can be as consistent as device in sweden is nearly impossible, just try 5 riflers, and try one of them to awp to see how it goes.

I'm pretty interested in what they plan to do. Dignitas was bought out by the Philadelphia 76ers org around the time Complexity did their Dallas Cowboys stuff. I wonder if they go about building an NA roster being based in New Jersey or maybe they plan to do something else. It'll be fun to watch. Their name means so much to the CS scene...so it would be awesome to see them build a Tier 1 CS team. They have the money. I'm a Sixers fan and I know Joshua Harris is a billionaire. They could afford some good players.

I dont think building an NA roster is the way to go if you want a good Tier 1 team, NA's best and second best are barely scrapping through Major Challenger stage atm and there literally ain't other better talent there. Sure if they invest in NA for purely developing the scene purposes, everyone will appreciate and applaud. They are more than capable of coming up with a good lineup of EU players, post Major shuffle are gonna bring more players in the market.

Sad but very expected. Now, I could really see f0rest and friberg retiring! Not sure they would be willing to play in T3 or T4 teams while they're both over 30. Retiring from playing CS:GO professionally would make a lot of sense!

I love this team but would lie if I said I was happy with the results they have had. Dont think benching the entire team was necessary. Curious to se where forest and heap goes, hopefully they continue together. Friberg is one of my favorite players and although he played well at the rmr he has been lackluster otherwise. I dont se where he could go :/ Lekro I am very disappointed with, veteran player choking at the rmr.. Hallzerk too inconsistent to be a star player but he is good, if he dont stay with these guys I am certain he joins 777.
