RUSH to step in for Evil Geniuses at BLAST Premier Fall Groups

Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta will be sidelined from the team due to personal issues until his return for the Fall Groups Knockout Stage on August 25.

William "⁠RUSH⁠" Wierzba will be a part of Evil Geniuses' starting five when the North American team kicks off its BLAST Premier Fall Groups campaign on August 21.

The 28-year-old will be stepping into the shoes of autimatic, who is taking a brief leave from the team until August 25 for personal reasons.

RUSH will don the EG jersey in the first round of group play in Copenhagen

RUSH was recently announced as a part of the EG Black lineup that will play ESL Challenger League Season 42 North America, but he will first fly to Copenhagen to stand in for the organization's main roster as they navigate Group C at the BLAST event.

Evil Geniuses will be facing a tough opponent in their opener, none other than the best team in the world, FaZe, while the other side of the group's double-elimination bracket is comprised of BIG and HEROIC. EG announced that autimatic will be back in the lineup on August 25, coinciding with the beginning of the Knockout Stage.

The tournament in Denmark will also be Sanzhar "⁠neaLaN⁠" Iskhakov and Jadan "⁠HexT⁠" Postma's debut in the top EG lineup ever since the Kazakh player was brought on from K23 and the North American youngster promoted from EG Black earlier in August.

Former Copenhagen Flames coach and manager Daniel "⁠Vorborg⁠" Vorborg will be standing behind the team during his maiden event as EG's head coach, a special moment for the Danish skipper on home soil.
