ESL Challenger League S42 Europe groups Fantasy game open to play

The group stage of ESL Challenger League Season 42 Europe is set to start on August 30. The online event will host 16 teams all battling it out for the lion's share of $50,000 as well as a spot in ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference.

The tournament will be accompanied by a new edition of the Fantasy game, allowing players to compete in the HLTV x Roobet League for skin prizes. This is a non-seasonal version of the game, meaning it will not contribute any points to the Fall season 2022 leaderboard.

First of all. Amazing with more fantasy and not just the T1 teams/tournaments. Makes the HLTV users more integrated with the site. Second. I would definitely include the t2 scene in the fantasy season like it was in fall season 2021. There are multiple reasons but i'll just name some of it. The t1 scene is what most of the people already watches and for me, I want more people to get engaged in the t2 scene. By putting down the t2 scene to "partner games", I feel like most people will just make a random team, not "test your knowledge" like it's mentioned above here and not care about how it goes that much. If it would be included in the season, it would get more competetive and more people would take the t2 games more seriously. This would give alot of benefits, for example more players would get discovered, more viewers of the t2 scene and more integration on HLTV website. Another solution could be adding a (t2 season) with it's own leaderboard and it's own prizemoney. This would also add the benefits mentioned above.
