Europe and Asia RMR groups revealed

The opening matchups for both events were also announced.

ESL has announced the groups, seeding, and opening matchups for the upcoming IEM Road to Rio Europe and Asia RMRs. The unveiling of the groups comes after the fourth and final Europe open qualifier and Asia's four closed qualifiers concluded on August 28.

In Europe, the 32 teams have been split into two groups of 16, with each offering eight spots for the varioius stages of the upcoming IEM Major Rio. As for Asia, the four teams present will be battling for just two places that will reward IEM Major Rio Challenger Stage berths.

It's not even so much about Navi (besides fighting for a slot in legends), how much about the level of the teams that came out of A against the background of those who did not pass from B.

Interesting groups. Navi will have easy time in group B, but others will have bloody battle over the other slots In group A there is more room for all the favorites to make through, but the legend slots are more uncertain.

My sofa predictions Group A: Faze, Spirit, NIP, G2, Cloud9 = 99% qualification. Astralis, Forze, Fnatic = good chances. Hard for others, maybe Spout or new Ecstatic can surprise. Group B: Navi, Ence, Heroic, Vitality, OG = 99% qualification. Big, Outsiders, Mouz=good chances. Hard for others. Maybe SAW, HEET, k23 can surprise.
