Second round matchups for European RMRs released

Some top teams will clash as the RMRs move into their second day of play.

With the first day of action done and dusted here in Malta, the matchups have been drawn for the next round of games.

Some tantalising matchups await in the second round, with the headline match seeing G2 taking on Cloud9 in a clash that pits the world No. 5 against the world No. 6. Elsewhere in RMR A Ninjas in Pyjamas take on Bad News Eagles, and FaZe fresh from their near-upset at the hands of GamerLegion will clash against fnatic.

G2 will hope to continue their recent form when they take on Cloud9

The most exciting battle in RMR B sees top seed Natus Vincere pitted against MOUZ, with HEROIC vs Outsiders and Vitality vs BIG serving as the warm-up acts.

It's seeded with direct invites (due to finishing high in Antwerp) as top seeds (and then going by position), and then open qualifier teams next sequentially (so, a team that qualified through OQ #1 is seeded above a team that qualified in OQ #2 or later). The participating teams are in initial seeding order on Liquipedia. Hope this helps!

No problem. Please note that that initial seeding only applies to round one and two, and Buchholz is used to seed the further rounds. Buchholz is essentially "no. of wins your previous opponents have minus the no. of losses". So, in the round three 2-0 slots, a team who in the first round faced a team that then won (i.e. went 1-1) will be seeded above a team who in the first round faced a team that lost again in round 2 (i.e. went 0-2).

Why do you make it sound like without Konfig is a negative? He has been consistently terrible ever since he joined, wouldn’t have changed a thing and only mirrored the academy players performance. Possibly with some toxicity added on top as well ;-) Also not sure if 6-7 on T nuke is to be considered struggling either. I mean BNE went 30 rounds vs EF(!)..

+1 , for the first time a large number of people won the combo bets on the favourites, while usually only 5-10% do because fo the upsets, but there werent any upsets except the faze one where if anyone had some big handicap for faze
