Eternal Fire part ways with paz and hardstyle

The Turkish superteam has now removed three members since the RMR.

Eternal Fire have announced that Ahmet "⁠paz⁠" Karahoca and Canpolat "⁠hardstyle⁠" Yıldıran are no longer a part of their active roster, both members ending their association with the team after just three months. The announcement states that paz stepped down due to personal reasons and performance issues, and that he will move to an inactive role for an indefinite amount of time.

The removal marks additional changes in Eternal Fire since their unsuccessful RMR campaign, which saw them eliminated from the tournament with a 1W-3L score. The Turkish team replaced IGL Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli with Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç earlier in October, when it was also announced that Ömer "⁠imoRR⁠" Karataş will be taking over calling duties.

Eternal Fire are down to four players

Both paz and hardstyle were members of Eternal Fire for three months, having returned from VALORANT alongside MAJ3R in July. During their short stints in the team, they narrowly exited ESL Pro League Season 16 in the group stage and made the semi-final of ESL Challenger Rotterdam 2022. Ultimately, the underwhelming RMR campaign pushed the Turkish team into changes, removing two players and their head coach.

Eternal Fire add paz, hardstyle in place of xfl0ud, bishop

paz and hardstyle spent their entire CS:GO careers in Turkish rosters, representing names such as Turkey5, Sangal, and Space Soldiers. They attended the ELEAGUE Major 2018 with the latter, the Turkish team falling just short of a playoff berth in the United States.

Eternal Fire are now down to four active members:
