Sadokist removed from Major broadcast

ESL has confirmed that Anders "⁠Anders⁠" Blume will step in for Matthew "⁠Sadokist⁠" Trivett on the commentators' post for the remainder of the Major.

Sadokist has been removed from the official IEM Rio Major broadcast following his involvement in what ESL has described as an "incident" that took place on Friday evening local time. Anders will take his place alongside Jason "⁠moses⁠" O'Toole for the remainder of the tournament.

According to a Dust2.us report, the Canadian commentator's removal came after he, allegedly under the influence, got involved in an altercation that resulted in "emergency services" being called.

Sadokist has been replaced by Anders on the commentators' post

After commentating on the action throughout the Challengers Stage from Monday to Thursday, Sadokist did not appear on the broadcast in any of the matches on day one of the Legends Stage on Saturday. Instead, his usual duo partner, moses, was casting alongside Anders.

ESL provided the following comment to Dust2.us:

"We can confirm that an incident took place last night involving Sadokist. As a result of this, Anders has stepped in to commentate for the remainder of the tournament. We have no further comments and would like the focus to remain on the competition."

+1 They fit well together, so much I didn't even notice there were some exception going on as you kinda expect these two to cast together. Sadokist while being great caster wasn't the perfect fit for Moses, feels like they were not connecting on the same level in lots of stuff especially regarding jokes, Anders suits Moses better. However sadokist + henryg were the best caster duo ever in CSGO imo, at least when they peaked, went slightly south towards the end when it felt like especially henryg lost his passion.

Yeah, I do miss peak Sado and HenryG, especially like 2018-2019 era but I guess Henry just stopped enjoying casting. Unfortunately, he quit that steady gig to manage a failed colossus. He came back at least for EPL though, which is the first S-Tier event he casted in like two years.

he's a play by play caster, you compare him to machine maybe, not chad. It's how commentator duos work in many sports, one guy is more hype and engaging and is mostly focused on "on the surface" of things, other guy is more chill and analytical and in-depth and they bounce it back and forth for perfect balance. Sado is a perfect hype up guy, very good with words, witty, is not afraid to make jokes. Fact that YOU found joke offensive does not make a joke any offensive, it just means YOU got offended by it.
