CCT Central Europe studio finals revealed

The island nation of Malta will play host to the first European studio finals of the Champion of Champions tour.

GRID, in partnership with GamingMalta, have unveiled the location and date for the upcoming CCT Central Europe Studio Finals. The $100,000 LAN tournament is scheduled to be held in Malta in February 2023.

The event in the Mediterranean country will be the first European studio finals in the Champion of Champions Tour. A further 10 studio finals in several other regions in Europe and the Americas are set to be held at a later date, all culminating in a $500,000 global finals.

The CCT Central Europe studio finals will play out in Malta

The $100,000 CCT Central Europe studio finals will feature teams who secured a podium finish in the regional ranking leaderboard by the conclusion of the four online cups. Those three squads will be joined by a handful of rosters who will receive a direct invite to the competition.

The first two online cups have already concluded, with MIBR and FORZE both picking up a victory and 150 ladder points, each. The playoffs of the third online event are set to begin on November 15, while the fourth and final competition will kick off with the play-in on November 26.
