Fluxo exploring nqz, zews additions - Report
The Brazilian team are looking to make changes heading into the new year.
Fluxo are exploring options to replace Lucas "lux" Meneghini and coach Willian "Xamp" Caldas, with 9z's Lucas "nqz" Soares and two-time Major champion Wilton "zews" Prado emerging as likely candidates to fill the positions according to reports from The Enemy and Dust2.com.br.
nqz has been a part of 9z for six months, during which he has averaged a 1.19 rating and quickly become the team's star player. He had particularly strong performances in 9z's domestic competition appearances, but also fared well at the IEM Road to Rio Americas RMR and during the Challengers Stage of the Major, impressing with the AWP.

nqz's arrival on the team would liberate Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato from the pressure of the Big Green and allow him to focus solely on in-game leading, while simultaneously providing Fluxo a boost in overall firepower by replacing their second-lowest rated member with a stable, impactful AWPer.
According to Dust2.com.br, negotiations between 9z and Fluxo are in advanced stages, but an agreement has yet to be reached. Fluxo are also exploring the option of replacing their coach, Xamp, and have began early conversations with zews.
The former Luminosity and Liquid coach has been largely inactive since departing Evil Geniuses in 2021, only briefly returning to coach O PLANO at the IEM Road to Rio Americas RMR. He ruled out a return to competition in July, citing the hectic travel schedule, time away from home, and poor diet as reasons he didn't want to return.
However, with more domestic competitions taking place in South America and Fluxo not being a partner team in any of the top leagues, zews would be able to comfortably coach the team while remaining in Brazil for larger swathes of the year. A prospective move to Fluxo would also reunite the 35-year-old with João "felps" Vasconcellos, whom he played alongside on Immortals in 2016 and coached on MIBR in 2019.
Dust2.com.br also pointed towards former FURIA assistant coach Marcos "tacitus" Castilho as a possible candidate to fill Xamp's position. Both tacitus and zews are free agents, so Fluxo have the ability to consider their choices without the added hurdle of a buyout, unlike in nqz's case.
Should both moves come to fruition, Fluxo's roster would be:
Adriano "WOOD7" Cerato
João "felps" Vasconcellos
Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves
Vinicius "vsm" Moreira
Lucas "nqz" Soares
Wilton "zews" Prado (coach)
Marcos 'tacitus' Castilho

Maximiliano 'max' Gonzalez
David 'dav1deuS' Tapia Maldonado
Nicolás 'buda' Kramer

Timothy 'autimatic' Ta
Tsvetelin 'CeRq' Dimitrov
Sanzhar 'neaLaN' Iskhakov
Jadan 'HexT' Postma
Daniel 'Vorborg' Vorborg
