The Polish AWPer has found a permanent home five months after being benched in ENCE.

9INE have completed their 2023 roster with the signing of Polish AWPer Olek "⁠hades⁠" Miskiewicz. The news brings a conclusion to the 23-year-old's short stint as a free agent that started in December following his departure from ENCE.

hades was benched from ENCE in August and spent the next five months out on loan with Finest and, subsequently, ex-Finest. The AWPer had recently made an agreement to terminate his contract with ENCE, which allowed him to explore his options in the market as a free agent.

hades returned to the Polish scene with 9INE

The Pole found consistency while playing at a lower level of competition and averaged a 1.13 rating in the five months since his departure from ENCE. He only attended one LAN with ex-Finest, Svenka Cupen 2022, and registered a 1.15 rating while helping his team finish in third place behind Ninjas in Pyjamas and EYEBALLERS.

hades effectively comes into 9INE as a replacement for Grzegorz "⁠SZPERO⁠" Dziamałek, who was released from the team in early December after an unsuccessful stint. The Swedish organization briefly experimented with Filip "⁠tudsoN⁠" Tudev during CCT Central Europe Series 4 and ESL Challenger League Season 43 Europe, but landed on the Polish-British AWPer as their permanent fifth.

hades leaves ENCE

“Hades is the best addition to the team that we could hope for," said 9INE's CEO, Fredrik Belstad. "Not only is he an exceptional player, he fits very well into the team as they already had good chemistry off the server as well. We’re really looking forward to 2023 with him in our roster."

hades also made a statement for his homecoming on Twitter. "I officially joined 9INE," he said. "It's time to make polish CS great again! I believe in this lineup and hope we can achieve some good things here."

9INE's new lineup is set to make its debut in the opening round of ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference against Permitta on January 16 at 19:00 .

Well they do have great potential. I would prefer to see a “super”team around him and dycha led by siuhy and supported by Snax and michu. But apart of that this team will probably become a top 30 team and possibly qualify for one t1 event in 2023. But I actually think “Mid player mid team” is a pretty fair take on them

Well, they might be the best but they don’t really watch too much low tier cs. They see academy league though and thats more or less it apart from cases where a young kid starts to destroy everyone on faceit. Headtr1ck is good and too good for the academy league but in all fairness the league isn’t close to as good it was 2021. They also knew he was joining NiP so it was in all fairness a pretty easy choice

No. hades is trash. Tier 2 awper. Ence got him cause last awper was scared and he was the same way saying support awper xD nice excuse. Yeah ENCE was carried by Spinx and dycha mostly :D with hades being 3rd or 4th best in the team. After dallas maden was delivering way more than hades.

Is maze and s0und any good or decent at least ? friend was good in Honoris and same for forsyy. Anyway i think its better for Snax (and Michu i guess) play with youngsters from international scene. For some reason Polish teams just never work (imo its all about motivation and trainning also igling i guess lol) Man i was/am such a big VP fanboy that i still follow tier2-3 Polish scene even watching some matches of Honoris for example lol. They care most about Polish Championship and in Poland all teams are on pretty similar lever and they aren't motivated to get better for some strange reason, probably if there will be one dominant team in Poland it will motivate other teams to get better; hopefully it will be 9ine if not then hades's carrer will be wasted same as KeI's (for some reason he left sprout after qualification to EPL to get back to a polish team) context: hltv.org/news/33030/sprout-part-ways-wit.. and dycha in an interviev about polish scene previously as I remember correctly
