Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard will miss his first tournament since IEM Katowice 2022.

FaZe have announced that rain will be taking a step back for the upcoming BLAST Premier Spring Groups in anticipation of his child's birth.

The Norwegian, who was named the 13th best player of 2022, will sit out his first tournament since IEM Katowice 2022, where he was replaced by Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage in the latter stages of the event.

Coach Robert "⁠RobbaN⁠" Dahlström will also be unable to stand behind FaZe in their BLAST Spring Groups matches this week, with his return anticipated to be between next week or ahead of IEM Katowice at the latest.

FaZe have not revealed who will replace rain at the Copenhagen event, saying they will announce further roster news closer to their first match in Group B against Complexity, which will take place on Friday at 12:00 .
