Forester joins 1WIN in place of flamie

The former NAVI player has been released from 1WIN and is no longer tied to the Russian organization.

1win have announced the signing of Igor "⁠Forester⁠" Bezotecheskiy from Entropiq. The 23-year-old departed the Czech organization's inactive roster after he and his teammates were put on the transfer list in October 2022.

The incoming rifler will take the place of former Natus Vincere veteran Egor "⁠flamie⁠" Vasilyev, who spent a year donning the 1win jersey starting January 2022 up until now. The 25-year-old Russian failed to make headlines in his first outing since being cut from NAVI and posted a middling 0.97 rating during his time in the team.

Forester was one of Entropiq's strongest players with a 1.11 rating

Forester joins after a successful year-and-a-half tenure with Entropiq on an individual level, having averaged a 1.11 rating during that time. He didn't win any trophies, but played the PGL Major in Stockholm, was runner-up at the V4 Future Sports Festival, and made the semi-finals at ESL Challenger Melbourne.

1win have already played with Aleksei "⁠NickelBack⁠" Trofimov, who could remain in the squad according to rumors, in their opening ESL Challenger series this year — a 2-0 victory over Believe —, and the Russian squad is also rumored to be on the verge of signing another Natus Vincere alumnus in Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov, who has been without a team since being dropped by Ukraine's top side after the PGL Antwerp Major in 2022.

Forester's debut will come in ESL Challenger League on Tuesday, February 14, when 1win face off against European side Sprout.
