Complexity climb into top 10 in post-Katowice team ranking

The North American roster achieve the milestone on the back of their best placing yet in Poland.

HLTV.org's team ranking has been updated following the conclusion of IEM Katowice, and teams have received bumps to their points based on their results in Poland. Simultaneously, the IEM Rio Major has fallen out of the recent tournament subranking, reducing the point gap between the midfield of teams by a substantial margin.

Complexity earned one of the largest jumps out of the IEM Katowice attendees, moving up eight places to No. 10 thanks to their 7-8th place finish. The team had begun their tournament run from the Play-In stage and made it all the way to the lower bracket final, but narrowly lost to Outsiders in that series, 1-2.

Complexity's form and placement at the event helped to catapult them into the top ten, the first time that a North American roster other than Liquid has made it to that threshold in two years — Evil Geniuses was the last to do so when they were No. 9 in February 2021.

G2 extended their lead over every team below them and are now maxed out at No. 1 with 1000 points, nearly 250 above HEROIC. Other changes include FaZe dropping by one spot to No.4, IHC entering the top 20, IEM Rio Major champions Outsiders falling from No. 5 to No. 7, and Rio playoff teams MOUZ and FURIA dropping out of the top 10 to No. 11 and No. 15, respectively.
