Astralis, Falcons among next six teams to qualify for Paris Major EU RMR

Kenny "⁠kennyS⁠" Schrub and company are the first French team to secure a berth to the RMR.

Astralis, OG, Falcons, 1win, Eternal Fire, and Monte have advanced through the BLAST.tv Paris Europe RMR closed qualifiers with 3-1 records in the Swiss stage. The six rosters will join 18 other teams already qualified for the Copenhagen-based LAN that will offer spots at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

1win were the first of the teams to guarantee a berth to the RMR, finding success following the additions of Kirill "⁠Boombl4⁠" Mikhailov and Dmitry "⁠hooch⁠" Bogdanov.

OG and Eternal Fire followed suit shortly afterward, scoring 2-0 victories over Aurora and Into the Breach, respectively, while Astralis, Falcons, and Monte were made to fight for their RMR spots in series that came down to the wire.

Which of the two, 16-team RMR events these teams will be placed into won't be determined until the closed qualifiers conclude. Their final placement is determined by their Bucholz score, which won't be decided until the last round of play comes to an end.

A total of eight more spots in the Europe RMR events are still up for grabs. Teams will battle it out for six spots through the closed qualifiers themselves, and those that fail to advance with 2-3 records will have a final opportunity to grab one of two spots via the last chance bracket.
