The Bulgarian and Portuguese earned the two spots available in the last chance qualifier to clinch their place at the RMR.

500 and SAW are the final two teams to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major EU RMR after picking up top-two finishes in the last chance qualifier.

As a result, the team list for the European Regional Major Ranking tournament is now set. 32 squads — 14 who were invited thanks to their placements at the IEM Rio Major and 18 who qualified through the two closed qualifiers — are scheduled to duke it out in Copenhagen from April 6-14, where just 17 berths to the Parisian Major are up for grabs.

Rainwaker topped the server in 500's qualification matchup versus HAVU

500 punched their ticket to the RMR after placing first in the last chance qualifier with a 2-0 win over HAVU, clinching victory on the back of a hard-fought 16-14 showing on Ancient and a 16-10 display on Overpass.

The Bulgarian roster were one of three winning teams, alongside SAW and JANO, in the first round, but avoided having to fight through the second-place decider and advanced straight to the RMR after sporting the highest seed amongst the aforementioned triumphant squads.

SAW's path to an RMR berth required two wins in the last chance qualifier. The Portuguese roster first scuppered HEET's hopes of playing at a Major on home soil in a two-map series before going on to sweep Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli's JANO 2-0 in the second-place decider series.

Their qualification allows Christopher "⁠MUTiRiS⁠" Fernandes and company to breathe a sigh of relief after the Portuguese ensemble's Major aspirations were almost in tatters following a 0-2 upset at the hands of Viperio in the 2-2 decider on Saturday.

Congrats Copenhagen Flames for this qualification ... they forfeit CCT LAN Finals and lost with 0-3 in Closed qualifier for RMR as well ... and they not even played against G2 or Astralis

unluko for JANO. I really hope that there will be some changes to the RMRs, maybe 2-3 teams would be enough. So both RMRs have 8 top20 teams and maybe switch some "lesser" teams. For example 1 top20, some top30 to A RMR, and 2 top40+ teams to B RMR. ez fix.

Finnish commentators said the same thing. They had a good chance to get to RMR. IF HAVU would have won the first match against 500, JANO would have gotten guaranteed place to RMR, because JANO won Tricked. :(
