IHC add hasteka to the lineup

The Mongolian team rounded out their roster ahead of the Regional Major Ranking event in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

IHC have announced the addition of Mongolian rifler Chinguun "⁠hasteka⁠" Bayarmaa to their lineup. The 24-year-old replaced Tengis "⁠sk0R⁠" Batjargal on the roster, who was suddenly released by the organization earlier in March, ending a year-long stint with the organization.

The roster change came as a surprise to many who expected the Mongolian quintet to remain unchanged ahead of the RMR following a series of great performances at recent international events. Most notably, IHC eliminated FURIA and Cloud9 from IEM Katowice last month, with sk0R being their highest-rated player throughout their stay in Poland.

hasteka plied his trade with Clutch over the last four months, averaging a 1.03 rating during his time with the Mongolian squad at various online events such as MESA League Season 3 and ESL Challenger League Season 43 Asia-Pacific. His most recent outing at the closed qualifier for the Paris Major also resulted in his highest rating this year with a 1.10 score over four maps played. However, Clutch failed to qualify for the event following a 7-8th place result in the online event.

IHC have confirmed the 24-year-old will be able to compete at the upcoming RMR alongside his new squad despite his participation in the closed qualifiers with Clutch.

sk0R leaves IHC: "Not my decision"

The Mongolian organization's decision to remove sk0R surprised many in the community as IHC were perceived to be performing well above expectations with their previous lineup. The 20-year-old clarified on an Instagram story that the roster change was not his decision before setting his profile as private.

IHC has a busy period ahead of them as they prepare to tackle three international events in a month as the Paris Major RMR, IEM Brazil, and ESL Challenger Melbourne all take place in April.
