FURIA fe set to lose Olga - Report

The Brazilian star is due to join an international project.

Dust2.br have reported that Olga "⁠Olga⁠" Rodrigues has asked to leave FURIA fe, with the intention of participating in an international team. The squad she would be joining has not yet been revealed.

This would mark the second change for FURIA fe in recent months should it occur, with the Brazilians having just brought Gabriela "⁠bokor⁠" Bokor into the lineup in place of Mariana "⁠mari⁠" Preste in January.

The second-best female player of last year is on the move

Olga was named the second-best female player in the world at the HLTV Awards for 2022, her 1.39 rating for the year powering FURIA fe to the finals of every ESL Impact LAN event. The Brazilian squad could not overcome the final hurdle however, falling in each attempt to the dominant Nigma Galaxy, and they missed out on the final of ESL Impact Katowice this year after being defeated by Nigma in the semi-finals.

FURIA fe are reportedly looking to Bruna "⁠brunakiller⁠" Bonfati and Mariana "⁠LyttleZ⁠" Sabia as potential replacements for Olga. The former currently represents W7M fe and achieved two top-two placings in Impact Cash Cups late last year, whilst the latter is sitting on MIBR fe’s bench having been removed from the active roster in January. During LyttleZ’ time on the starting lineup for MIBR fe they earned a top-four placing at ESL Impact Valencia 2022, but they struggled towards the end of the year and failed to qualify for ESL Impact Katowice.

+1 Honestly I think it will be much harder for Furia Fe against Nigma Galaxy now, the trio izaa + GaBi + Olga was really strong. + josi would be great, but she is also in an international team right now. The only player they might replace on BIG Equipa would be Jenny R but that would be a hard role clash with Olga. plus going from Furia fe (the 2nd best team) to BIG (struggling to qualfiy) seems weird; but I have not clue and it is about money.
