NAVI versus FaZe headlines BLAST Paris Major Europe RMR round three
Day two of the RMR in Denmark begins on Friday, where the first teams to earn berths to the Major and be eliminated entirely will be decided.
The first day of the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR A has concluded, with the stage now set for the third round of play at the Major qualifier in Copenhagen, Denmark on Friday.
There will be eight matches played out throughout the course of the day, four of which will be best-of-one tussles in the 1-1 pool. The remaining brawls will all be best-of-three features, with two teams posting flawless RMR runs to earn berths to the Major in Paris while a further two squads will be eliminated from the RMR altogether by the end of the day.

The most tantalizing matchup of the day is undoubtedly a PGL Antwerp Major grand final rematch between FaZe and Natus Vincere. The two teams, who are the highest-rated sides at the 16-team LAN, ensured they finished day one atop the standings with unblemished 2-0 records, even if the Ukrainian-majority roster were forced into a grueling double-overtime battle by Into the Breach.
The two titans will cross paths thanks to their Bucholtz Score in the Swiss system, which takes into account previous results when scheduling teams' future matchups. Natus Vincere picked up wins over Into the Breach and Falcons en route to their 2-0 start, with FaZe taking down OG and then Apeks to go on and sport a 2-0 record of their own.
Whoever wins the expectedly tense best-of-three will earn a Legends Stage spot at the Major in France, whilst the loser will head down to the 2-1 pool and need to try again to progress.
Elsewhere, B8 will lock horns with fnatic in a bid to secure their own BLAST.tv Paris Major Legends Stage berth. The Ukrainian quintet have looked solid in their two games thus far, in stark contrast to fnatic, whose wins in Denmark have been relatively hard-fought despite facing lesser competition.
Conversely, OG and Sprout will be desperate to stave off a last-place exit from the Regional Major Ranking tournament. The two rosters have had less-than-ideal showings thus far in Denmark, and now face SAW and Viperio, respectively, in a bid to keep their Paris Major dreams alive.
The remaining four games will all be best-of-one fixtures of the 1-1 bracket; Virtus.pro will take on Into the Breach in their 1-1 affair, whilst MOUZ will look to rebound following their opening round upset to B8 with a game against Falcons.
