Tentpole: "Miss the competition"

The Swedish news-portal fragbite have conducted an interview with Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund, newly arrived member of H2k Gaming.

It has been five months since Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund parted with SK Gaming and has not been seen in any team since. Last week H2k Gaming announced the signing of Nordlund, in a brand new H2k roster.

Nordlund now speaks to fragbite about various subjects, touching his eager to play again due to missing the competition, his break with SK Gaming, that he will continue working full-time and the expectations of the new team.

SpawN said in a statement that you've missed the competition. For how long have you been thinking about a comeback before you joined the team and have you had any offers apart from H2k?

Of course you miss the competition, that's the only reason that I have kept playing for so long as I have. When I after about 5 months opened CS for the first time, I looked around for any possibilities for playing competively. I had a couple of offers but none weren't really any good, I'd say, I hope no one resents.

At the time of your leaving you stated that there weren't any organization in the world that could meet your demands. What has changed since then? Does this mean you from this time on only play for fun, which seemed to be the case earlier in your career when your stepped down from number one team fnatic to Begrip, or will you eagerly go for the top again?

There's still no organization in the world that could meet those demands that I would have to be able to live normally and that's the reason for why I will work full-time on the side. How much I will be able to play, how skilled I will be and for how long I could keep this up I don't know yet.

Its going to be interesting how good he and Gux still are after like 6 months of inactivity, plus working a full-time job, I don't see him being at as good as his SK days, but you never know.

Yeah, that was very unsportsmanlike, poor GeT_RiGhT still sobs at night. He thinks to himself "SK was a great team..I need to make them remove me of something because after Tentpole rejected my high-five, my heart has been aching for every second I live." Tentpole says how he didn't see his hand, but we all know that's a lie. No team should accept Tentpole until he apologizes to GeT_RiGhT. Agree? And YES, I am bored.

some of the sickest things I have ever done in CS were after not playing for a really long period and launching the game for the first time. it just builds some kind of freshness, originality you didn't even know you had. ofc I'm not saying everybody works the same way, but sometimes, breaks are really, really good for your skill, in CS, music or anything else.

Hmm maybe we cant expect "big" results, because gux leaved fnatic lack of time, and now tentpole is full working man, and i dont belive spawn and snajdan can play huge time too, so they pracctice time will be sure small, maybe on weekends for some huge hours, thats my expect

tentpole misses competition? i guess the competition misses tentpole. if he gets back on his top he can make the difference for his team. brilliant player, experienced as well and how much more motivation does he need? gl h2k, top 3 @ iol is possible and would be an amazing result for the future

i don't know if i agree with that, but he is one of the most consistent players to ever grace the game.. great fucking player, but they'll be rusty at iol, considering they will only like have six days of playing time together before it starts..
