Cloud9, FaZe, and BIG set to play for last Paris Major spot on last day of qualifiers

Vitality and Monte will also battle it out for a spot in the Legends Stage.

Day eight of the BLAST.tv Paris Major qualifiers featured the final teams to qualify for the Major from EU RMR B and the start of the Last Chance Qualifier, where one final spot in Paris is up for grabs. There was jubilation from Ninjas in Pyjamas, FORZE, and ENCE, who all prevailed in the former event to qualify for Paris, and heartbreak from Aurora, B8, and Falcons who bowed out from the latter to miss out on the Major entirely.

FaZe will have to beat either BIG or Cloud9 to make the Paris Major

G2 also fell out of contention for the final Legends Stage spot on offer after Vitality secured victory over them in two maps in the fifth-place decider match of EU RMR B, but can take solace in already having made it through to the Challengers Stage. Vitality, meanwhile, will take on Monte on Sunday at 10:00 to fight for the last spot in the Legends Stage.

The final two Last Chance Qualifier matches will also play out to determine which team will claim the final spot in the Challengers Stage. Cloud9 and BIG will first do battle at 10:00 , with the winner of that match advancing to take on FaZe for the last spot in Paris.
