The duo announced their intention to enter Counter-Strike 2 as a full-time casting pair.

Henry "⁠HenryG⁠" Greer has announced that he and Anders "⁠Anders⁠" Blume have officially joined forces as a fully-fledged commentating duo, setting the groundwork for a partnership that will run into Counter-Strike 2 when Valve's new shooter is fully released later in the summer.

HenryG and Anders will be a full-time commentating duo moving forward

HenryG first returned to live commentary back in August, taking to the microphone once again after a two-year hiatus. The 34-year-old is most well-known for working with his usual co-host, Matthew "⁠Sadokist⁠" Trivett, with whom he produced memorable one-liners like "What a blunder!"

As for Anders, the 37-year-old commentator has been a staple of the game for the vast majority of CS:GO's life span, with his time behind the microphone dating back to 2013. The Danish caster has guided viewers through the action at a number of Valve-sponsored events like the IEM Rio and PGL Stockholm Majors, alongside several other Big Events like IEM Cologne 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 17, to name just a few.

The announcement doesn't come as a huge surprise as the Briton and Dane have been sharing a microphone during the weeklong Brazy Party tournament, initially raising eyebrows when it was announced that the two would be working together in contrast to the usual commentating set-up. The $333,000 online event is set to reach its end later on Wednesday with a grand final clash between Cloud9 and Astralis.

He threw a fit that he wouldn't get to work particular matches at the PGL Stockholm 2021 Major and thought he should be getting more games to cast so he waited until he was live and made a bunch of passive aggressive comments when throwing it back to the analyst desk, essentially turning the major broadcast into his soapbox. He was or still is one of the higher ups at faceit. At the faceit major he was the one deciding which talent they were gonna use for the major. So he was basically their colleague and boss at the same time. Pretty awkward for the other talent, cause they didn't know how to act around him. There was also some bullshit going on where he and faceit were using industry politics on which talent they are actually using for matches. If bardolph didn't like someone, they simply weren't able to cast the matches + the amount of money the talent were getting was the absolute minimum, for a fucking major. Meanwhile bardolph was getting the full paycheck, cause he was working for faceit directly.
