Women's circuit returns to LAN with second big event of 2023
The ESL Impact League Season 3 Finals will play out in Dallas, Texas, alongside the DreamHack festival and the IEM Dallas playoffs.
The ESL Impact League Season 3 Finals are due to begin on Friday, June 2, in Dallas, Texas, with eight women's teams flying stateside for a chance to take home the $50,000 cash prize.
The tournament will play out in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center alongside IEM Dallas, which recently reached the playoffs, and will conclude with a best-of-three grand final on Sunday, June 4, to crown a champion.

The eight-team competition marks ESL Impact's return to the Lone Star State as the Season 1 Finals were also held in Dallas back in 2022, when Nigma Galaxy prevailed to begin their so-far uninterrupted period of domination in the women's circuit.

NAVI Javelins, who are the highest-ranked team in Group A, come into the $123,000 tournament with a spring in their step. The Polish ensemble have made a number of deep runs in recent times, finishing ESL Impact Katowice in February as the runners-up before earning their place at the Season 3 Finals after going flawless in the European division. The Poles also earned $1 million for charity after reigning supreme in the Gamers Without Borders Women Charity Invitational in April.
Nigma Galaxy, who were seeded into Group B and won the ESL Impact Season 2 Finals in 2022, make the trip to the United States as the highest-rated side and remain the favorites to lift the trophy despite the Poles' uptick in form. The Russian-majority roster earned a berth to the Season 3 Finals after also finishing in 1st-2nd place in the online European league, where they put up a 4-1 score following a record-breaking loss to NIP Impact.

A number of other squads will also be throwing their hat into the ring, eager to topple the two aforementioned rosters' dominance as of late. Shimmer and FlyQuest RED form the North American contingent on home soil, whilst HSG fe, who were bolstered by the edition of Olga "Olga" Rodrigues, the second-best women's player of 2022, will be finally making their LAN debut with the new recruit.
