Spirit's roster overhaul has started with the removal of the trio from the lineup.

Spirit announced the departure of Robert "⁠Patsi⁠" Isyanov, Ihor "⁠w0nderful⁠" Zhdanov, and Pavel "⁠S1ren⁠" Ogloblin from their active roster, leaving them with just two active members.

The news comes amidst rumors that the Russian organization is set to promote three members of their academy squad, namely Myroslav "⁠zont1x⁠" Plakhotia, Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets, and Artem "⁠ArtFr0st⁠" Kharitonov, while Patsi has signed for Liquid according to a report by Dust2.us.

Spirit made a huge shakeup of their roster

The Russian squad had an underwhelming first part of 2023, during which they dropped from 13th to 32st in the world rankings, bowed out early at IEM Katowice 2023 and ESL Pro League Season 17, and missed out on a BLAST.tv Paris Major spot.

Patsi has the longest tenure in the team from the removed trio, having first joined the main squad in January of 2021 before being put in the academy squad after just three months. He then spent eight months in Spirit Academy but earned back a place on the main team in November 2021.

The 19-year-old started his second stint in good form as he averaged a 1.12 rating in his first full year, earning plaudits as one of the best aggressive rifles in the scene. His form dropped massively during 2023, however, and he only averaged a 0.99 rating during the first six months of the year.

Joining him on the bench is S1ren, another Spirit Academy graduate. The 20-year-old joined the team during their last roster overhaul in 2022 and was a stable if unspectacular player during his tenure, averaging a 1.02 rating.

The final removal is that of w0nderful, who joined almost exactly a year ago as a replacement for the outgoing Abdul "⁠degster⁠" Gasanov. The AWPer wasn't able to hit the heights of his 2022 performances during the last season but was still comfortably the highest-rated player in the squad at 1.07.

To be honest cs player prices are really random and not real value so difficult to estimate unless there's some insider info. Like m0nesy for example was in no way worth 700K before joining G2 :D sure it turned out great but it was a huge risk. If I'm not mistaken NiP paid similar insane fee for headtrick too.

So thats difference device is the most consistent player in csgo history and on almost as good individually as zywoo and s1mple. He a team plauer and on shot team like nip managed to get top20 which proved he can perform in other shittier teams too. Device buyout is reasonable while m0nessy and headtrick was unknown cause its dofferent playing good in tier 2-3 then dominating tier 1

Good but do spirit have any plan for how they plan to return to the big tournaments? they are so low in esl ranking, at least vp won challenger and will participate on pro league 18. Spirit will probably gonna grind cct and wait for major qualifiers
