kyxsan extends Apeks deal until end of 2024
The Macedonian in-game leader commits to the BLAST.tv Paris Major semi-finalists for the long term.
Apeks has re-signed its in-game leader, Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski, until the end of 2024, the organization has announced.
This is despite interest in the Macedonian from other clubs, according to a statement from Apeks' Head of Esports, Anders Kjær.
"It goes without saying that we are extremely happy that Damjan chose to stay with us, even though he had interest from different clubs. This shows great loyalty to us, and we hope to continue building something great," the statement reads.

kyxsan had spent the past six months with the European squad, coming in as a replacement for Richard "shox" Papillon late last year and taking over the reins in the team that had previously been briefly led by Martin "STYKO" Styk.
His contract extension comes following Apeks' miracle run at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, where the team made it all the way to the semi-finals after beating the likes of Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas in the late stages of the tournament.
It also comes at a time when one of the team's biggest prospects, star rifler Justinas "jL" Lekavicius, has reportedly reached an agreement to join Natus Vincere, according to Blix.
