FURIA say goodbye to drop, saffee
The departing duo have been linked to MIBR.

FURIA has announced the parting of ways with AWPer Rafael "saffee" Costa and youngster André "drop" Abreu amid ongoing conversations to sign Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo.

The outgoing duo are set to for a transfer to MIBR, where they will fill the spots left open by Matheus "Tuurtle" Anhaia and Henrique "HEN1" Teles in the Brazilian side's starting five.
FURIA, meanwhile, continue to work in order to get the FalleN negotiations across the line as they also scour the market for a rifler to fill drop's shoes ahead of the fall season, which begins for the Brazilians on July 25 at the IEM Cologne Play-In.

drop and saffee had been in FURIA since mid 2021 and early 2022, respectively, and peaked in fifth place on the world ranking during their time in Brazil's top side.
The duo never lifted silverware, but had a mix of memorable moments — such as the semi-final finish in 2022 at their home Major, IEM Rio — alongside several disappointing group stage exits, including the recent BLAST.tv Paris Major and the final event of the 2023 spring season, IEM Dallas.
FURIA is now down to:
Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato
Yuri "yuurih" Santos
Andrei "arT" Piovezan
Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira (coach)
