volt had a breakout season with Into The Breach

Into the Breach have announced that they are parting ways with Sebastian "⁠volt⁠" Maloș. The 21-year-old was a key part in the British organization's rise in the first half of 2023.

volt and Into the Breach first made a splash at the BLAST.tv Paris Major Europe RMR in Copenhagen, Denmark, finishing in third place and earning a direct berth to the Major's Legends Stage.

The 21-year-old had a great showing in his team's 3-1 run at the RMR with a 1.10 rating, and then showed flashes of brilliance in victories over ENCE and FaZe at the Major to help the squad make the playoffs.

volt's final tour with ITB came in the local ESL Premiership, where he helped the team become national champions over the likes of Viperio and Endpoint, averaging a 1.24 rating in three matches.

After that run? Idk why do teams and players insist on destroying themselves? Monte, ITB, Movi, Saw, CpH flames, Ecstatic, the list goes on. Stop giving into t1 demands from teams because half the time you end up benched and the team you were on becomes irrelevant after being poached.

Ahm, from that tweet and most of the time, players are the ones who want to leave for better offers(salary partnerships, more stable environment etc), im sure every team u mentioned would love to keep their players and perform but sometimes there are offers u cant top from orgs with a lot of money

You answered ur own question. T1 teams with money want the best players so they buyout players from struggling teams who take the money and reinvest. ITB tried to hang onto volt from the looks of things

Exactly! but money talks. So many have made the wrong decision of joining some of these tier 1 shit orgs and ruining their careers. Fnatic & Astralis have ruined many youngsters the past 2 years.

Indeed. I understand that you want the money as a player. But are you ready to change the way you play and maybe a role that doesn't fit you for 3-6 months of salary? If you are good and you know it, have some patience and don't take decisions based on fast money. The T1 teams are few, and have a lot of money to spend, but they will get rid of you just as fast if you don't perform.

for sure is downgrade from siuhy and iM but both were so good they were bought by fricken MOUZ and NaVi. No way Gamerlegion could even get players the same or even better level than those. maybe like sdy instead of mankz but that would've probably been quite costly

I dont think they are trying to replace them in quality, it's impossible, I think they are just trying to find some players which will keep them relevant and at the top of tier 2, and try their best to not get embarrased at big events/ qualify for the major. They are definitely not aiming for another major grand final

The jump is huge and i don't see anyone declining that offer coming from a Tier 2 team that elevated their level recently. Copenhagen Flames did good by selling the players as those teams are often a flash in the pan when they stay together. That way players and the org get the most out of it
