PKL departs paiN
The 28-year-old leaves the Brazilian organization after over four years under its banner.

Vinicios "PKL" Coelho has departed paiN ahead of an impending move to Fluxo, ending a 53-month-long association with the team that he began alongside Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt in February 2019.
The in-game leader had stepped down from the team's active roster in February, citing personal, family, physiological, and psychological problems as reasons for him needing a break. At the time, he also stated that he would talk to a psychologist as well as undergo physiotherapy in order to address a spine problem during his absence.

He enjoyed moments of success during his time with paiN, winning a number of domestic titles in Brazil before the team made the move to North America early in 2020. The roster later went on to win a handful of events including DreamHack Open January 2020, ESL Challenger League Season 41 NA, ESL Challenger Melbourne, and CBCS Invitational 2022.
paiN also found success after PKL's departure, achieving their highest ranking spot to date at No. 13 and making it to the BLAST.tv Paris Major and playoffs of ESL Pro League Season 17. However, a downturn in results at the Major itself and the events that followed have prompted changes in the team, with a majority of the lineup being swapped out and its benched members heading elsewhere.

"After more than 4 years representing paiN, it's time to say goodbye, "PKL said. "There were several remarkable moments, several trips and many titles. I will be forever grateful for everything everyone has done for me, from the fans to the organization's entire board. Thank you so much for everything."
PKL himself has been linked with a move to Fluxo alongside former paiN teammate Romeu "zevy" Rocco, as well as RED Canids member Henrique "t9rnay" Menacho.
