ESL Pro League Season 18 talent announced

Geordie "⁠Mac⁠" McAleer will make his ESL Pro League casting debut in Malta.

Mac was called to be part of the 14-person cast that will be live from Malta

ESL has revealed the 14-person team that will travel to Malta for the 18th season of their flagship league, Pro League, and the two casters who will cast the B stream remotely.

Many of the top-flight regulars will be in attendance on the island nation in the Mediterranean, including the likes of Tres "⁠stunna⁠" Saranthus, Freya "⁠Freya⁠" Spiers, Janko "⁠YNk⁠" Paunović, Mathieu "⁠Maniac⁠" Quiquerez and Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche, who are best known for their desk work.

Commentators such as Chad "⁠SPUNJ⁠" Burchill and Alex "⁠Machine⁠" Richardson, Jason "⁠moses⁠" O'Toole and Adam "⁠Dinko⁠" Hawthorne, or Hugo "⁠Hugo⁠" Byron and Harry "⁠JustHarry⁠" Russell will also be in attendance. A notable absence is that of Conner "⁠Scrawny⁠" Girvan's regular partner, Mohan "⁠launders⁠" Govindasamy.

Henry "⁠HenryG⁠" Greer will also be in Malta, as will be a first-timer in Pro League, Geordie "⁠Mac⁠" McAleer, who will make his way all of the way from Australia after leaving behind a memorable moment on his stream when he received the news that he would work the event.

The B-stream, which will be broadcasted remotely, will include its two stalwarts, James "⁠BARDOLPH⁠" Bardolph and Alex "⁠hawka⁠" Hawkins.

ESL Pro League Season 18 will take place for over a month, on August 30 - October 1, and will feature all but one top 20 team in the world (The MongolZ) among the 32 teams vying for the lion's share of the $850,000 prize pool.

Why did ESL now just decide to hire HenryG again, man's just straight up basically vanished after the fiascos regarding him 2-3 years ago and then just returns out of nowhere. And fucking damn it Pimp's back. And kind of unfortunate Anders aint around this time ngl, still like the guy after all. But Im interested in seeing Mac :v

if you mean the sexual assault allegations then yes. That was one of the fiascos, but the main fiasco that I'm referring to is what he tried doing in Cloud9 where he was basically flamed out of the community for how bad of a failure that project was :v

Thats true, but its no reason for ESL to not hire him. Yes he failed as a manager, but at the same he is still a great caster

remember last EPL where he left his mic on after casting a match and said something nasty about lucy. I don't think the stream picked up exactly what he said, but he thought it did and immediately came back onto the couch to apologise to her.

Mac is back baby. One of the best up and coming talents(even though he's been around for a while). Finally got him out of AUS to the big time. His wardrobe is always on point.
