cynic dons the Nouns jersey once again

Nouns have completed their roster with the re-addition of David "⁠cynic⁠" Polster. The 23-year-old previously played for the organization for nine months before he was cut after IEM Dallas and replaced by Bobby "⁠stamina⁠" Eitrem, and now returns to the team in place of the very player that took his spot.

Nouns part ways with stamina

cynic was a foundational member of Nouns' original CS:GO squad, with the team finding success in online competitions and qualifying for a handful of offline events including the Americas RMRs for the IEM Rio Major and BLAST.tv Paris Major.

He shouldered AWP and in-game leadership duties for the team during the late months of his tenure, taking up the latter after stamina's first departure from the roster, but this time around he will only handle the Big Green with Carson "⁠nosraC⁠" O'Reilly handed leadership duties instead.

The 23-year-old averaged a 1.14 rating over 241 maps with Nouns, a number that dropped to 1.00 over 21 maps on LAN and a career-low of 0.59 over three maps at IEM Dallas.

cynic will return to the server for Nouns on Thursday as they take on M80 in their opening match of the IEM Sydney North America closed qualifier, which features a four-team, double-elimination bracket with one spot at IEM Sydney on the line.

After his departure from (i believe) party astronauts his teammates would complain on twitter abt how he would stop giving team info when they were losing and say stuff like "i dont care anymore i push mid now". Also he was allegedly connected to matchfixing(he would throw games). It was a long time ago so maybe he changed but idk

Why would any team still want him back? I remember some time ago people saying he's toxic, do not listen to teammate calls and even ragequitted teamspeak during scrims because he got mad at his teammates. This guy ain't a good player to pick up

The only reason he has any worth is because he has IGLing skills. And the entire CS scene is going through an IGL drought. If he didn't have any of that, he'd be deemed worthless. Him screwing over his team a year ago should've killed his career but he only keeps coming back cause of him being an IGL which unfortunately provides him value.

But in no way, a support player being given IGL role makes sense, let Nosrac be support he has the potential to be developed into a great one in coming years (considering NA do have really less support players), and kick CJ Da fraud and get a dedicated IGL like stan

NA CS is down so fucking bad, holy shit. Just reshuffling the same toxic players over and over. Only to farm NA qualifiers then get dumpstered by tier3 EU teams with no improvement. Really hope we get some new blood for CS2 but it’s hard to have faith at this point.
