Sprout part ways with alpha; raalz to take over in-game leadership

raalz returns to a role he held in the team for a time in 2021-2022.

The veteran Dane will once again captain Sprout in the server

Sprout have announced that they are parting ways with in-game leader Daniil "⁠alpha⁠" Demin after three months. Calling duties will then fall on Rasmus "⁠raalz⁠" Steensborg, who already led the squad during a stint in 2021 and 2022.

The German organization plans on rotating its squad in the coming months in anticipation of Counter-Strike 2. It will be an academy player, Sebastian "⁠Tauson⁠" Tauson Lindelof, who will help the main team on trial for the time being.

The change comes in an already hectic year for Sprout. They lost two rising talents, Victor "⁠Staehr⁠" Staehr and Laurențiu "⁠lauNX⁠" Țârlea, early in the summer off-season, and parted ways with AWPer Adrian "⁠XELLOW⁠" Guță not long after.

The European squad posted some big wins against the likes of B8, FURIA, and Movistar Riders since returning to action after the break, but failed to make it deep in any online qualifiers and cups they participated in.

Well Zyphon is just as big a talent as w0nderful, he is one of the best non proven riflers in t2 and a phenominal second awper, but you didnt know that cuz you dont watch sprout matches

it was either him or w0nderful, due to the ukrainian esports federation's decision (w0nderful wouldn't be able to leave ukraine to go to tournaments, bc he was playing with a russian iirc), and the choice between them is pretty obvious

Sprout, went from having a great roster with spidi Denis FaVeN Dycha Snatchie. to than bringing in kessy/slaxz which set them back years. To going from major with refresh syphon to now relying on raalz to bring them to the glory land. Just disband and step away from csgo. the team could have been in the top of the top with refresh zyphon staehr slaxz launx. what could have been..

Refresh did not want to be IGL and that ruined all promising future. If Refresh is not IGL than who will be? Then, who we will replace to get IGL. Then, we have problems to get decent IGL. Then why other teams wants our best players and ruin our mega plans...
