HLTV is looking for new writers

HLTV is seeking writers to help shape the conversation and deliver news and stories from the competitive Counter-Strike scene.

Do you have extensive knowledge of the competitive Counter-Strike scene, excellent English, experience in writing or other forms of journalism, and want to make use of it at the biggest Counter-Strike coverage website?

If so, you might be the person our news team is looking for. HLTV has opened up applications for the paid positions of Senior Writer, Mid-level Writer, and Junior Writer, either on a part-time or full-time basis.

Here are brief descriptions and requirements of each position:

Senior Writer
Location: Remote
Status: Full-time (~40h per week)

Description: Pitch and write story ideas, conduct interviews, write in-depth articles and daily news posts about happenings in the competitive Counter-Strike scene.

It is expected that a Senior Writer has significant previous experience as a CS writer and excellent knowledge of the game and the competitive scene, and is capable of creating articles with minimal to no oversight.

Mid-level Writer
Location: Remote
Status: Full-time or part-time

Description: Pitch and write story ideas, conduct interviews, write in-depth articles and daily news posts about happenings in the competitive Counter-Strike scene.

It is expected that a Mid-level Writer has previous experience working as a journalist/writer and has a high level of knowledge about the game and the competitive scene.

Junior Writer
Location: Remote
Status: Part-time (~20h per week)

Description: Conduct interviews and write daily news posts about happenings in the competitive Counter-Strike scene.

It is expected that a Junior Writer has at least some experience in writing, perhaps on a personal blog or as a volunteer, and has a high level of knowledge of the scene.
