The German player is seeking new opportunities after being away from competition since April.

faveN is looking for new opportunities

Josef "⁠faveN⁠" Baumann has been allowed to explore options on the market after over three months on BIG's bench. The player clarified that there is still a buyout involved, meaning he remains contracted to the German organization.

faveN has been away from active play since June when BIG did a major overhaul to their roster by swapping out three players.

He has been with the German organization since December 2021, but was sidelined from the team for a three-month period from September - November 2022 due to illness and then took time off in April to celebrate his wedding, after which he didn't return to the active roster.

BIG sign mantuu; promote s1n, prosus in major roster overhaul

During his stints with BIG, faveN averaged a 1.05 rating over 245 maps, and generally maintained that level offline (1.02 rating over 132 maps). He recorded his last official event with BIG at IEM Rio 2023, where the team made playoffs before falling to eventual champions Vitality in the quarter-finals.

Well yeah but your immunity system gets more resilient the more diseases you get, as it builds up receptors to kill off the viruses of common diseases. That's how vaccines work aswell, they either inject receptors versus the virus and you're immediately immune Or they inject a dead virus cell into your body and your immunity system builds receptors to kill off future examples The latter is more effective long-term, but it takes around 2 weeks until it takes full effect

The roster with him was unstable, because he was in and out with a sickness every second tournament. BIG just needs a stable roster for a few months, and I hope they are finally getting it. Also, prosus might be worse, but s1n definitely has the potential to be a star.

s1n has been on BIG's main roster for less than half a year and averaged a hardly-positive rating. prosus was in theory a better player than s1n coming into the main BIG roster. He's just been cucked by the inherent structure of the team. Similar situation with faveN when he was on BIG. faveN was just a superstar caliber player, which prosus isn't quite there yet. Just cause s1n performs fairly well with a supporting cast of tabseN and a superstar rifler such as krimbo doesn't make him better than faveN. Considering the longevity of time faveN was on BIG and the shit positions he had been dealt, he's head and shoulders above s1n and prosus on a fundamental level. Stop being so bitter lmfao

They all have their fair share of problems - syrson is not comfortable on LAN, k1to disappears against top level opposition, JDC is inconsistent, faven is always sick. The organisation stands for developing and implementing the best German players, and I think they are doing exactly this right now ;)

tabsen wasnt an amazing awp tbh. he just did it because noone else could. i think BIG should play with its current team for the rest of the year. i feel like they could realistically reach top 10 with that squad once they gained some more experience together
