Heroic sign dupreeh until the end of 2023

The five-time Major winner will be a temporary addition to HEROIC, who are set to begin life without Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller.

dupreeh has been on Vitality's bench since June

Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen is back in action and has been signed by HEROIC as a temporary addition until the end of the year. The move comes after HEROIC benched long-time AWPer and in-game leader cadiaN at the beginning of October.

HEROIC will hope that adding the serial winner — he has won 27 LAN titles and earned more prize money than any other player in Global Offensive — can add some steel to a team that has fallen short of the trophy at the biggest events on the calendar.

Heroic bench cadiaN due to "differing visions for the future"

dupreeh joked about being "too dumb to in-game lead" on HLTV Confirmed, which means that cadiaN's replacement as captain will more likely to come from within the team.

The probable candidate is Martin "⁠stavn⁠" Lund, who was the secondary caller and AWPer on the old lineup. stavn's potential move to the AWP also leaves a space in the entry pack for dupreeh, his preferred role.

dupreeh has been benched since June, when Vitality replaced him with Shahar "⁠flameZ⁠" Shushan as the BLAST.tv Paris Major winners attempted to future-proof their roster, but he quickly set his sights on a return to active play.

dupreeh: "I don't feel like I am finished"

"I don't feel like I am finished," dupreeh said on HLTV Confirmed. "Honestly, I am super addicted to the whole process of working with a team, continuing to get better, lifting trophies, and competing to be the best.

"A lot of people seem to think that once you turn 30 and you have a kid, there is no room to play Counter-Strike, and that is definitely not the case."

dupreeh had been linked to TSM by 1pv.fr and then to Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen's new Falcons project by Sebastien "⁠KRL⁠" Perez on stream, but it is with HEROIC that he now makes his comeback.

His first appearance for HEROIC will come on Wednesday in the Roobet Cup, where the Danes have been matched against Aurora in their opener.

Karrigan said it multiple times that rain is his perfect team mate, so if karrigan gonna have even slight opportunity to stay with him and for example ropz he will for sure do it, instead of taking up snake team of chokers who kicked cadian, because he wanted changes.
