TSM release XTQZZZ on heels of reported talks with Vitality

The French coach departs the organization after barely a month.

Could we see XTQZZZ in a Vitality jersey again?

Rémy "⁠XTQZZZ⁠" Quoniam has been released from his contract with TSM and is a free agent, the organization has announced.

According to retired French professional player Sebastien "⁠KRL⁠" Perez, XTQZZZ has reportedly been approached by Vitality to replace Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen, who will depart the organization on November 1.

The 34-year-old coach was said to be the architect of the new TSM lineup, which only formally came together on August 29. The Frenchman previously was alleged to be exiting the lineup after a dispute arose regarding verbal agreements between the organization, its players, and XTQZZZ, but an amicable solution was seemingly found as the lineup was signed a month later.

However, XTQZZZ has now "expressed his desire to leave the project," with assistant coach Lambert "⁠Lambert⁠" Prigent set to take his place while the organization "evaluates [its] next steps for the head coach position."

XTQZZZ's desire to depart from the lineup comes on the heels of news that zonic will no longer be the coach of Vitality as of November 1, when he and sports psychologist/performance manager Lars Christian Robl complete moves to Falcons.

XTQZZZ was previously the head coach of Vitality from December 2018-2021, but made the move to G2 after the French organization reinforced its ranks with Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen, Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif, and zonic from Astralis.

Retired French professional player KRL, who was also first to report that zonic and Robl were likely headed to Falcons, has reported that Vitality has approached XTQZZZ to return to the organization to take zonic's place, with discussions said to be underway as of October 5.

and what other Coach should they take? Faze signed Neo ffs, G2 promoted Swani from analyst to coach. There is also a big plus that Xtqqz worked with Apex and Zywoo in the past

xtqzzz is far from being a fraud, his G2 phase wasn't good but in Vitality he was amazing.

According to xtqzzz, he wanted the g2 roster to change their mentality and certain other things and since they didn't he wanted to leave the team, G2 was always like this let's be honest, they didn't make many playoffs in 2023 (without xtqzzz) and in 2022 (with xtqzzz) and you have to take into consideration that m0nesy was quite new into the scene and aleksib wanted to bring structure in a team that relied heavily on aim and fights. Xtqzzz also played a role into the preparation of the paris major for Vitality. what other roster could he have created for that TSM team ? Seeing all those names just confirms that they don't want to spend any money and the only money they probably spent on a buyout would be cypher's buyout.

I should also maybe point out that it was supposedly stated that zonic initially wanted full control of the roster in order to have them play out what he thinks is the way which apEX also supposedly complained about due to being too restricted, but after some time, apEX regained full control and got to play out as he pleases. so zonic staying was basically meaningless.

You can see how much of a genius Zonic is just by looking at the player transfers that Vitality did under his coaching. The guy is probably the best at scouting the perfect players for the exact role needed. He probably did the most impactful transfer of all time with Magisk to Astralis back in the days. I'm sure with the limitless sources Falcons are providing him, he'll get to the top once again.
