The American organization makes a return to the game after last housing a team in 2016.

JACKZ returns to a team after last filling in for Vitality five months ago

TSM has announced the signing of a new Counter-Strike roster that features former G2 rifler Audric "⁠JACKZ⁠" Jug and ENCE rifler Valdemar "⁠valde⁠" Bjørn Vangså, confirming previous reports that tied the organization to this new lineup.

The roster is completed by Cai "⁠CYPHER⁠" Watson, who impressed as a part of Into the Breach's recent run to the BLAST.tv Paris Major quarter-finals, Cloud9's former pillar of support Timofey "⁠interz⁠" Yakushin, and Mădălin-Andrei "⁠MoDo⁠" Mirea, a 20-year-old Romanian AWPer who most recently plied his trade for Nexus.

TSM were previously supposed to debut with their new roster in CCT Online Finals 2 according to Dust2.us, but ended up pulling out of the tournament after a dispute regarding verbal agreements made by the organization reportedly arose between TSM, its new players, and head coach Rémy "⁠XTQZZZ⁠" Quoniam, who was said to be the architect of the new lineup.

The alleged disputes previously pointed toward XTQZZZ exiting the project. The Frenchmen and organization seem to have found an amicable solution, though, as he was also announced as a part of the project, reuniting him with JACKZ and returning him to a team after he last stood behind G2 in October 2022.

TSM last housed a Counter-Strike roster in 2016, with some notable names to go through their ranks including the likes of Sean "⁠seang@res⁠" Gares, Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken, Hunter "⁠SicK⁠" Mims, and Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta. The players from the organization's last roster decided to depart after TSM released seang@res due to his involvement in the Open Letter to the Professional eSports Association.

Prior to that, the organization had a star-studded Danish core that included Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz and Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen on its books, but a breakdown in relationship between the organization and players led to their departure and later, the formation of Astralis.

TSM lose CS:GO team

The newly-signed TSM roster currently has no events lined up as they are not among the team list for ESL Pro League Season 18, but could make their debut in an online tournament or cup.

I believed that if they were handpicked by XTQZZZ he believes that he can create a successful system around them, and I think this guy has a lot of talent at putting players into a successful system and getting the best out of them. I also think that some of these player's roles weren't fitting them to their best in their last team (mainly jackz), I'm kinda scared about valde IGL tho but I hope XTQZZZ can turn him into a better igl than he was before

zywoo was always a monster but vitality with apex IGL was way better than any other vitality, and to me it's a great example of XTQZZZ finding the right player to build a system with and mold into a great IGL. It doesn't work all the time as we saw in G2 with him and aleksib, they had clashes and he knows there's nothing to build if the IGL and coach aren't on the same page

I started played the game before steam, no later than 1.3, likely before, but I didn't give a fuck about versions back then. I am by no stretch new to this game, despite being thrash. I play 5 games a year, and only short. As I completely lack passion as a player. Valde was indeed sacked from OG because he lacked passion, not skills. That was N0tails own words (he let two players go AFAIR, both for same reason.). This was said during one of OG's monkey business youtube videos. But I bet Ferdinand knows him better than the boss in an org he actually played for. Surely. In another long talk, which I have no remembrance of the source of, Valde talked about that not being t sure he would be playing if it wasn't for it being a job. If that's not a clear sign of lacking passion, I don't know what it is.

Passion comes and goes, I'm not surprised valde lacked passion in the end of OG when he had to play with an almost completely new team from the original project and they got little to no results. "Wow he wouldn't play the game if he could not make a living out of it he clearly lacks passion" how surprising, guy from a country with some of the highest cost of living in Europe wants to be able to live from his passion. Passion is indeed what brings you to become the best in whatever you do, not a lust for money. Ask all the best artists, sportsmen and alike what motivated them to become as good as they are. I don't wanna perceive what you meant wrong again. But talking generally, those people strive to be amazing at what they do through passion, but if they weren't then paid for their talent do they really have a reason to continue? This might be easier for artists because sometimes you can practice art and have another job, but for athletes it's pretty clear that to train to get to a very high level of skill you need to fully focus on your sport, and that means you need to earn your life from it. I'm asking you this, how does valde saying that he wouldn't be sure he would be playing if CS couldn't provide a livelihood for him shows that he lacks passion? And passion for what, the old OG project, CSGO as a whole, the new CS2 game that is soon coming up? Can someone not get passionate again after a disappointing time in a team with little results? To me it seems like you're saying that because he lacked passion at one point he's not a passionate individual and can't be passionate about the game again at a different time and in a different context. Also, I'm not even a fan of valde but I think you think of him unfairly. And sorry for misquoting you, it's true that it won't help to have a healthy discussion.

When you truly have passion for something, you aren't doing it for money. And no, I am not going to search around for names and all that. I find what I am saying logical. Maybe you have a few super professional players who is the exception to the rule, but in general, you just get further with passion. Passion is kind of a hidden skill of a player. If someone has it, they are just worth more than someone who doesn't. Passion means you will improve without a carrot at the end of stick in front of you. I can't spell it out better mate. Passion is a major asset for a sportsmen, and lacking it is a relative hindrance for improving.

Honestly you dont deserve the hate you're getting right now, of all the players who are gonna transition into igl, valde makes perfect sense, he was more or less a poor man's xyp9x , his fragging came mostly from playing good methodical counter-strike and understanding the game at a deeper level rather than relying on mechanical skills. He definitely should've done it in a smaller team first but it's not unreasonable for him to go down this path.

Great talent, but he is as washed up as you can be. As soon as his paychecks started in rolling for good, he became shit. IMO, he is THE definition of a paycheck stealer. But he aced 1v5, ending up with 100hp at end of round. That's about the only thing he can look back at with a smile (except for the money) If he cared a little bit about the game in his spare time, he could have become good. But maybe he will actually play CS.GO outside working hours this time, who knows. He was super interesting at first, had a bit of flair, and balls to play different. But such style demands constant practice, or you will be figured out and easily countered in no time. I dislike him for stopping way short of what he would be capable of if he put in the hard work to improve. But damn, I envy anyone being teammate with jackz, that guy seems like a superb teammate with his natural positive attitude. The type of guy who is more happy when a teammates aces than if he aces himseelf.
