valde reportedly finds a new home after five months on ENCE's bench

After weeks of scouting and negotiations, the long-rumored return of TSM to Counter-Strike is imminent. According to Dust2.us its new roster is set to debut in a week's time in the second CCT Online Finals (August 2-9).

Former ENCE player Valdemar "⁠valde⁠" Bjørn Vangså and 20-year-old Romanian AWPer Mădălin-Andrei "⁠MoDo⁠" Mirea are the final two pieces of the lineup, Turkish leaker Draky first revealed and Dust2.us' report also claims.

1pv.fr previously reported in early July that TSM's first three signings to the new team would be interz, JACKZ, and CYPHER, and that former G2 and Vitality coach Rémy "⁠XTQZZZ⁠" Quoniam was behind the North American organization's plans.

To all of you who don't understand the roster / are disappointed: Building a tier one roster takes TIME. There are no title contenders line ups available to pick up for a million bucks. The Cloud9/Gambit situation was lightning in a bottle. Recruiting tier one players when starting a new team is near impossible - - top talent go to places where they have a better chance of success. When a org - - big or small - - ventures into counter strike, they have to start somewhere. If it means having a tier 3 team at the start, so be it. They will make changes overtime, they will bring in new players, change the team... This lineup is not the same TSM you will see a year from now and THEY know it. But if they wait around for the perfect players and teams to be available, they might wait forever. What matters the most to them right now is to HAVE A TEAM, and work from here, join the franchise leagues asap, etc. So, they have to start now. TSM have the ambition and the investment to play the long game. They will get there.

This has to be the worst roster I've ever seen for an org of this caliber. interz is a good selfless support for a CIS lineup, but that's about all there is to him; also communicating in English for such a role is harder than the other. JACKZ is good mechanically, great personality but subpar English, is 31 years old, and has an overall level only good for teams under the TOP20. CYPHER has potential, but this lineup is a Bubzkji type scenario for him, he would have been better off making a UK team with smooya, cryths & others. valde is on the bench for 6-months, despite being the best player in the lineup good luck to him calling because his level will only drop even further, should have joined a DK mix. MoDo is T3, he's outclassed by multiple AWPers in the Romanian region, has no experience in high level, and tbh doesn't have what's required even to play for a TOP50 lineup. As for the coach, i like him very much, but if he decided anything about this lineup then he's a huge disappointment for me. > This TSM will change in less than 3 months, now it's pure trash. Out of the 10 or so ways TSM could have made a lineup, they took the worst.

Here are several lineups consisting of free-agent players who could have been much better than their current ones. DK lineup : valde, birdfromsky, nicodooz, n1xen, Fessor. UK lineup just for fun(still better) : smooya, bevve, cryths, CYPHER, Wolfee FR lineup : Maka, Lucky, hAdji, Djoko, Kursy Even bnE is far above any of the above, and they are completely FREE! I didn't even bother making EU lineups because almost any HLTV user random mix is better than what they bring to the table.
