OG invited to Skyesports Championship 5.0

The European combine join Aurora at the Indian LAN.

OG have received the direct invite on offer for the Skyesports Championship 5.0, a $100,000 LAN event set to take place December 1-3 in Mumbai, India.

The European combine join Aurora at the event, which will feature four teams doing battle in a double elimination, best-of-three bracket. Aurora secured their spot at the tournament via the European closed qualifier, where they beat out the likes of TSM and NAVI Junior to secure their spot in Mumbai.

Two spots are left to be claimed for the LAN event, with one being earned via and Indian qualifier, the other via a United Arab Emirates qualifier.

For OG, Skyesports Championship will be a chance for their roster to prove themselves on LAN as they have only played in online competition since IEM Cologne in early August. The European combine failed to qualify for IEM Sydney or the BLAST Premier Fall Finals since that event, and their lack of appearances at elite tournaments has resulted in a slide to outside of the top 30 in the world rankings.
