FiReLEAGUE 2023 Global Finals postponed, moved to Buenos Aires
The eight teams that were supposed to compete in Barcelona have agreed to play at the event in May 2024.

The FiReLEAGUE 2023 Global Finals, which were set to take place on November 8-12 in Barcelona, Spain, have been postponed as the tournament organizer had to deal with last-minute venue changes and in the end could not ensure a smooth operation.
It was slated to be a packed week, with the CS Asia Championships in Shanghai, China, and the Hussar Cup in Poznan, Poland, also going on, but in the end, it will only be the tournament in China going ahead.
The Argentine-Spanish tournament organizer will instead run its Global Finals in May 2024, and will move the venue from Barcelona to the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, where they ran a successful one-day event at the Movistar Arena in July.
The Global Finals will now be nestled between ESL Pro League Season 19, which will end on May 12, and IEM Dallas, which is slated to kick off on May 27.
Eight teams were either invited or had punched their tickets to the tournament in Barcelona through qualifiers, and they have all agreed to compete at the event when it takes place in 2024.
The initial plans are to make part of the event open to the public during the playoffs, either in a theater or an arena. There will also be an online South American FiReLEAGUE running in 2024, which will end with a LAN final serving as the show opener during the Global Finals' championship Sunday.
The team list for the event is:
