The North American organization has already reached an agreement with ALTERNATE aTTaX for his transfer.

slaxz- will soon be unveiled by M80

M80 are on the brink of announcing the signing of Fritz "⁠slaxz-⁠" Dietrich, sources have told HLTV.org and Dust2.us. The German AWPer has already parted ways with ALTERNATE aTTaX, with the transfer expected to be finalized in the coming days.

In a statement issued on Friday, ALTERNATE aTTaX explained the decision to let slaxz- leave in the middle of the season with the player's "exemplary" behavior towards the organization.

The 24-year-old returned to ALTERNATE aTTaX in January 2023 following a two-year stint on Sprout. He has taken his form to a new level in 2023 with an average 1.20 rating across all competitions.

slaxz- is expected to replace Adam "⁠WolfY⁠" Andersson in the North American team. The Swedish-American player has struggled for form with the AWP, averaging a 1.03 rating since signing with M80 in July.

The imminent signing of the German AWPer comes amid the excitement generated by the unveiling of tennis superstar Daniil Medvedev as a co-owner of M80.

In an interview with Sheep Esports, M80 CEO Marco Mereu said that Medvedev will be a “visible owner” and that he is already “very involved” with the rest of the leadership when it comes to company's day-to-day operations.

Slaxz is in the best form of his life right now and now he goes to m80??? I mean they are clearly not better than Attax. Attax would easily win against them. So there have to be a really big paycheck he gets, or they are planning to sign other good players and told him already. I mean he is not the youngest and probably will be traveling to NA often in the year or travel in EU for Bootcamps. Weird, he has family and taking such a big step in his age.
