The North American team has opted to shake things up after a rough start to the ESL Challenger season.

cxzi returns to Party Astronauts together with viz

Party Astronauts have announced the returns of Danny "⁠Cxzi⁠" Strzelczyk and Wesley "⁠viz⁠" Harris to the team to fill the voids that were created by the departures of William "⁠spek⁠" Smith and Adam "⁠Grizz⁠" Golden.

viz returns to action after taking a break from the game in July, citing burnout and motivation issues. This will be his fourth time representing Party Astronauts after playing for three different iterations of the team between April 2021 and July 2023.

Cxzi was one of the two Forsaken players left out in the cold when the squad’s core was picked up by Wildcard. He was part of the Party Astronauts squad earlier this year before his dismissal in July.

Wildcard announce new roster featuring Forsaken core

Party Astronauts currently lie in ninth place in ESL Challenger Season 46 with a 5-4 record. They will take on sixth-placed Take Flyte later on Monday in their next match in the league.

With these two changes, Party Astronauts now have:

The team. Actually was more strong when they revived the rand with this lineup they straight up qualified for esl katowice, I am pretty sure they didn't wanted to loose cxzi to start with but he left and of course viz got depressed and left too, this lineup is always better then the one they had before, cxzi and viz are better experienced and young plus more proven

People can meme on them, and this may not be the change that's going to propel them to t1/t2 CS, but every tourney they go to, they show better and better CS. It's only a matter of time until these types of teams can start taking a scalp here and there.
