ZywOo earns BLAST Fall Final MVP

Vitality's superstar has well and truly arrived in Counter-Strike 2.

Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut has won his first CS2 HLTV x 1xBET Most Valuable Player award after dominating the competition in the Royal Arena as Vitality broke FaZe's 18-match streak.

In Copenhagen, however, there were no such chinks in his armor. ZywOo ended the event with a 1.35 rating (1.32 in the arena), and 1.50 Impact. All of his maps ended with ZywOo above a 1.00 rating, and seven out of ten were at 1.29 or higher.

It was on the CT side where his superiority was felt most, as he posted a 90 ADR and a 1.48 rating. Usage of the AWP has declined across the board, but a hybrid style is one ZywOo is used to, and he remained at his superstar level on both rifles and the sniper.

Vitality's failure at Sydney and absence from the following CS2 events opened the door to a conversation around the game's best player, but this event served as a reminder of the level that title requires. He now has 17 medals to his name — four since the start of the year.
