tomiko joins Into the Breach on loan

The Polish rifler takes Qikert and bodyy's temporary place on the roster.

Into the Breach have added Tomasz "⁠tomiko⁠" Uroda to their roster in a loan agreement with Permitta. The details and length of the loan were not publicized, however, the announcement stated that the Pole would play for ITB in their "upcoming events."

tomiko previously had brief stints with AGO and Illuminar, and otherwise played under los kogutos when without an organization. He has averaged a 1.10 rating and 0.76 KPR in 2023 and has consistently performed well in online competition, but his addition leaves a question mark as to who will take up the captaincy in Into the Breach.

The British organization has been trying to nail down a fifth player ever since in-game leader Thomas "⁠Thomas⁠" Utting stepped back from the team at the end of August.

Aleksei "⁠Qikert⁠" Golubev first joined them on a loan agreement from Virtus.pro, but the two parties couldn't agree upon "further collaboration terms," bringing his three-month spell with Into the Breach to an end.

More recently, the team utilized Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro as a stand-in leader and turned their poor run of results around by winning CCT East Europe Series 4, but his departure to fnatic left them looking for another player to fill the gap.

tomiko will debut for Into the Breach in CCT Online Finals 5, which will utilize a double-elimination, best-of-three bracket to crown a champion. Notable names in the event include G2, BIG, and recent PARI Please champions 9 Pandas, the last of whom Into the Breach could meet in their second match if they beat RED Canids in their opener.
