Into the Breach tie rallen & CRUC1AL down to new deals

The team’s longest-standing players have extended their contracts with the organization.

rallen is now tied to Into the Breach until the end of 2024

Karol "rallen" Rodowicz and Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel have penned new contracts with Into the Breach until the end of 2024, the British organization has announced. The announcement comes as the team steps up preparations for the upcoming Major cycle.

Both players have been on Into the Breach’s books since February, when the organization acquired the Orgless Heroes lineup. Within three months, the team had soared to 14th in the world rankings after a surprising quarter-final run at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, where they beat FaZe, ENCE and fnatic in the Legends Stage.

On Twitter, Into the Breach CEO and founder Sam Cook revealed that TSM had attempted to “poach” the duo and pair them with Cai "CYPHER" Watson, who joined the North American organization in the summer, in an effort to “steal” the team’s slot in the European RMRs leading to PGL Major Copenhagen.

“Joey and Rallen stuck to their guns, literally,” Cook wrote. “Won’t be forgotten.

“We did you a favour, TSM. Now you can make a different, less costly scummy decision. Can't wait for the next $10 Fiver frag video when you announce the new roster. Best of luck in the open qualifiers.”

Into the Breach are still trying to find a new permanent fifth player after releasing Adam "NEOFRAG" Zouhar and benching Thomas "Thomas" Utting. Having failed to come to an agreement with Virtus.pro for the permanent transfer of Aleksei "Qikert" Golubev, the team is currently playing with Tomasz "tomiko" Uroda, who was recruited on loan from Permitta.

The European team currently features:

Poland Karol "rallen" Rodowicz
Netherlands Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel
Lithuania Aurimas "Bymas" Pipiras
France Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier
Poland Tomasz "tomiko" Uroda (on loan)

Portugal Gustavo "Juve" Alexandre (coach)

United Kingdom Thomas "Thomas" Utting (inactive)

nice but tomiko is a problem. hope he didn´t sign a big contract. he was amazing in csgo and no one picked him.. now in cs2 he is bellow average pro and they pick him... boddy was a nice pick but fnatic was smart and picked him They should pick HeavyGod , might be a bit expensive but he is amazing in cs2 Travis ,sirah , Neofrag could be ok options aswell Bymas in cs2 also... not the same anymore

My Brother Tomiko is 1.15 rated in cs 2 and he delivered with stats on a dead team, he is 1000% better option than neofrag who they just kicked some time ago

tomiko in csgo in 2023: 1.11 rating (1.05kd; 0.75kpr; 0.71dpr) tomiko in cs2 so far: 1.15 rating (1.11kd; 0.81kpr; 0.73dpr) he's literally better now, what are you talking about?

he isn´t. stop looking at stats and watch the fk games. he used to outaim t2 players in csgo , even without thinking too much. now he needs to rely on outsmarting them to kill them alot more, he isn´t a good aimer anymore in cs2 , at least for now.

Haven't ITB already lost their RMR spot since Cypher, Tomas and Volt aren't there anymore?

Could use default tactic. Register: - rallen - CRUC1AL - Thomas - Bymas - misutaaa - tomiko (Coach) And now they have slot

He is still of a part of team - he is benched but still part of a ITB as long as he is there - no matter if benched or loaned - they are not losing the spot

They plan on submitting a lineup wih Thomas as a player and then instantly substituting him, thus (on paper) keeping their core.

Yes they lost it, but TSM would get it by buying rallen and CRUC1AL since they already have Cypher

Yeah I know so why does ITB care exactly?

Because it's a shady thing to do and it's their best player and AWPer that are being targeted. This is after they already lost their young prospect in Cypher to the same org with disappointing results. This was all done without reaching out to the org, so ITB wouldn't get any money from the buyouts. What TSM is essentially doing is preying on a small org in order to get a cheap spot at the RMR.

They resigned crucial when there are 10 better awpers out there and some even free agents? All right...

No Crucial = no RMR spot, probably going to bench him after the major if I had to guess.

imagine having to stick to Joey "missing crucial shots" Steusel to keep your RMR spot that you will lose after the RMR anyway since the team is too bad.
