Metizport sign ztr and susp

The Norwegian organization’s team is back to full strength after two departures just 24 hours ago.

ztr joins Metizport's team as an IGL

Metizport have announced the double signing of Erik "⁠ztr⁠" Gustafsson and Tim "⁠susp⁠" Ångström from Ninjas in Pyjamas and 00NATION, respectively. The two new players will fill the vacancies created by the departures of Hannes "⁠hns⁠" Johansson and Alfred "⁠RuStY⁠" Karlsson.

ztr was last seen playing for Project G after spending almost a year with GODSENT on loan from Ninjas in Pyjamas. He will take over in-game leadership duties from Jack "⁠Jackinho⁠" Ström Mattsson, allowing the AWPer “to focus on what he does best while being a supportive player for Erik [ztr],” according to Metizport sports director Morten "⁠zEVES⁠" Vollan Christensen.

"We successfully pinpointed key factors, particularly the need for a dedicated IGL with a structured approach and leadership qualities, as well as a more aggressive player," zEVES explained. "After several thorough discussions, Erik emerged as the natural choice."

susp’s future had been up in the air since the end of November, when he and Nikolaj "⁠niko⁠" Kristensen were benched by 00NATION. He will be hoping to reignite his career alongside his brother Adam "⁠adamb⁠" Ångström after posting a 1.02 rating during his time playing under Thomas "⁠birdfromsky⁠" Due-Frederiksen.

zEVES noted that, despite susp's inconsistency with 00NATION, "we believe he will thrive within the framework we are building for the team."

Metizport release two players

"Opinions may differ, but to achieve our goals, I must trust the team around me," zEVES added. "We have a clear strategy and vision, and although success in esports is uncertain, we believe we are moving in the right direction."

With these changes, the Swedish team now has:

My source is truthworthy. But yeah, I would also like to see Max in a main team. But as the scene looks, where players being swapped out every three month, YN is a pretty good place to be in for 2024.

From what I understand Draken is supposed to be hard to work with. Also he has been kicked way too many times to be picked up again, would be much safer to go with tvs who is a lot more talented.
