aizy parts ways with Sashi

Philip "⁠aizy⁠" Aistrup's chaotic stint with Sashi ends after eight months.

Sashi have announced that aizy is no longer a part of the team after his contract with the Danish organization has expired.

The 27-year-old departs Sashi after a chaotic eight months, during which the organization repeatedly overhauled the roster.

He first joined in April along with long-time teammate Mathias "⁠MSL⁠" Lauridsen, but he and the rest of the team were benched after just two months in another top-to-bottom restructuring of the division.

aizy's second stint lasted for four months, during which the experienced Dane played with a younger core and most notably won United21 League Season 8 and POWER Ligaen Season 24 Finals.

“Philip is a true legend on and off the server, and we are extremely thankful for his time in our team," Nicolai "⁠HUNDEN⁠" Petersen, Sashi's Head of CS, said in a statement. "He has been a great help in guiding our young players and helping them stay calm and focused in stressful situations, and he is a true veteran in every aspect of the game, and an altogether great person."

Sashi are down to four players:

Yeah, no worries, ended up seeing it anyway :) There's probably can be an argument about how winning Dreamhack Opens (and that one Masters with MSL AWPing masterclass) is not that great of achievement, but he was part of that pretty good overall but semi-finals choking Dignitas the core of which ended up being Astralis, so probably valid.

ahahah i know the achievements weren't great but he had great highlights considering the roster. For example, I'm pretty sure a guy like Lekr0 still gets a quick news post when he moves somewhere, and to be fair I think he wasn't even as good as aizy on their peaks. So you can see it really doesnt matter, hltv tend to keep people updated of previous T1 players with some impact.
