PwnAlone leaves Party Astronauts

The team has parted ways with a foundational member.

PwnAlone is looking for a new home, preferably as a sniper

Party Astronauts and Josh "⁠PwnAlone⁠" Pigue have announced that they are parting ways after four years, which included a stint as one of the teams in EG's Blueprint project, EG White, from June 2022 to April 2023.

During his time on the team PwnAlone played at ESL Pro League Season 15 and the PGL Major Antwerp's North American RMR, and leaves with a 1.15 Rating to his name.

The 32-year-old is now on the lookout for a new home. "After 4 years and countless memories, my time on PA has come to an end," he said in a tweet. "I want to continue to try and compete and try to help any team improve. I'm ultimately looking for an awper role, but would settle for a rifler spot."

Party Astronauts will at most have until the beginning of January to announce a fifth, when they are slated to take part in the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen Americas RMR's closed qualifier.

who would even want to pick up the PA crew tho lmao. Like tell what org would even do so and provide them at least a few months or for the 2024 season of pro CS.

well yeah but tell me what fucking org would even bother investing in CS right now and would be willing to provide an NA team especially at least one year of support and see if it goes anywhere. And they would also have to do it in a reasonable budget cause overinflated salaries is one of the reasons NA CS was dying.

Copenhagen Wolves is more likely to re-enter the Danish CS scene even if the owner is now American. Leave them out. And the org isnt even fully functional yet.

he deserves better. I've been playing with PwnAlone on ESEA since cs 1.6 days.

So sad one of the best awpers in NA and any team is lucky to pick him up

I believe in January 2025, so still a year off. But I do think a tier 2 team might sign Steel before then to help develop younger players.

I saw that cash cup on his stream and he had some nice calls / setups / reads during the matches. Also some funny ramblings / rages when the guys weren't listening / doing what they were told. And there were some really nice clutches / highlights in it, maybe someone could make a little video?
